Length is measured from tip of middle finger to bottom of palm. Width measured from side to side above thumb.

They are nice gloves and the material feels good quality. The stitching at the end of the fingers is prominent but I think that would be made better by going up a size. They do come up small. I measured as per the chart but 2 fingers are fully at the end of the gloves. The middle finger fits as per the size chart. I'd go a size up next time.
